NEVER again...

January 2nd 2007 i went to Norfolk to visit my Husband. It was cheap. and i was on an extremely tight budget...so why not? first off, the room didnt really seem very welcoming...alot of space but it could have used a lil more "oomph"...more than some cheap excuses of a picture hung on the wall. But...the housekeeping was HORRIBLE! i think the only thing they did was MAYBE run a vaccuum over a few places and put new sheets in there. I didnt have time to check the room out when i first got in there cuz my son (2 months old at the time) needed to eat. But the bathroom at first glance appeared clean....till i washed my hands after using the toilet and i noticed the towels had what looked like spaghetti sauce on one spot, and some grey streaks on it. Okay-- if the towels are stained...throw them away and replace them... My husband had just pulled in to come stay there with me. He went in after i told him about my findings to complain. The lady at the desk told him that the room had been cleaned and then made a comment that the MAINTENANCE MAN cleaned that room....okay....what happened to HOUSEKEEPING!? but it got worse. Before leaving, i used the bathroom again & noticed dirt and hair behind the door as well as THREE bars of USED soap in the shower.... and it had been "cleaned"?.......... i think not! The only GOOD thing....is that in the summer time you'd be right off the beach where there is alot of rocks not even 30 ft out. Grossest motel/hotel i have EVER been to in my life! Oh...and after my complaining- they refused my money back and were extremely rude to top it off....
