Products and Services

Boarding


For smaller dogs, our kennels offer spacious indoor/outdoor runs and for larger dogs or multiple dog families even roomier runs. For the comfort of your older pets, we have available a secluded seniors section.


The Cattery, located in a quiet section of the facility, provides kitty condos with window views and carpeted perches for every cat to relax on.


All animals are provided fresh water and blankets. We offer a veterinary recommended diet including wet food and treats, but if you would like to bring in your pet's regular food, we'll happily serve it!


Each section provides soothing music to help your pet feel secure at all times!


Camp Bayside


We offer your pet indoor and outdoor activities including twice-daily walks in the park behind the facility, playing catch in our new enclosed outdoor play area, hot weather playtime in our wading pool and Frosty Paws treats! Your pet will love all of the fun!


Grooming


Every Grooming Includes:


* Nail and Pad Trimming
* Ear Cleaning
* Expression and Anal Sacs
* Bathing
* Blow-Dry and A Bandana


Therapeutic Shampoos


If your pet is suffering from seborrhea, allergic or flea bite dermatitis, we can recommend and apply a special medicated shampoo to help alleviate the condition. Just ask us at grooming check in.


Nail Trimming


Nails are trimmed whenever pets are groomed at Bayside Kennels; however, this service can also be performed between regular grooming appointments.

At Bayside Kennels, we treat every animal as if it were our very own. With over 40 years of service to the Tidewater area, we remain committed to giving you and your pets the best care and service available.


Bayside Kennels is owned by Peter G. Fisher, DVM, and operated by Teresa Honeycutt. There is a 24 hours a day attendant on the premises. In addition, Pet Care Veterinary Hospital is directly adjacent to the kennel where a veterinarian is always on call.


We are proud to be the only Virginia Beach facility accredited by the American Boarding Kennels Association!
