Exploring the seafaring world of the past and present, the Nauticus National Maritime Center is a museum, science center and preservation facility, complete with museum-style displays, a educational theater and the USS Wisconsin. The highlight of the museum's attractions, the World War II battleship has been opened up for tours by visitors, complete with fun activities and informative exhibits scattered throughout the decks. Other attractions located near the downtown waterfront museum include the MacArthur Memorial, the d'Art Center and the Chrysler Museum of Art.
