Description:
Established in 1900, the Virginia Zoo is a mid-size animal sanctuary, with nearly 400 different species on display, including many endangered and threatened animals. Undergoing a major expansion, the zoo has continent-themed areas and an extensive roster of programs for children and families, such as summer camps and overnight adventures. The zoo is located in northern Norfolk, next to Lafayette Park.

Open daily 10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Adults $7; Seniors (62+) $6; Children (2-11) $5; Children 1 and under are free.
